Prep Time: 15mins
Occasion: Any
Effort: Easy

Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup raw unrefined sugar (could try date sugar or maple crytals)
1/4 cup organic raisons
1/4 cup toasted almonds (optional for nut free recipe)
1/4 cup sliced dehydrated banana (optional)
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup safflower oil
1 to 2 tablespoons honey (raw and local)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Prepare:
Preheat the oven to 300F. Combine the oats, sugar, raisins, almonds, banana
(if using), cinnamon and ginger in a large mixing bowl; stir until blended.
In a separate bowl, stir together the oil, honey, and vanilla. Add the wet
mixture to the dry mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until well blended.
Then spread the mixture in a thin, even layer on a large baking sheet and
bake 30 to 35 minutes, until lightly browned, stirring it twice and then
patting down with a spatula. Scrape the granola onto a clean baking sheet
and set aside to cool. Makes 6 1/2 cup servings.
